That’s why we’ve curated a list of Chicago area events for small businesses and entrepreneurs coming to town this fall.

So if you like mingling, networking, or just learning, there’s a little something for everyone.

Network and Social Event at Kensington Roof Garden

When: Sept. 3rd, 6-9 p.m.

Where: 812 N Orleans, Chicago, IL 60654

What: Professionals representing 35 different industries to gather on one of Chicago’s most scenic rooftops for mingling and networking in a low-key environment. Cost is $15 in advance or $25 day of with an RSVP.

Young Professionals Networking Mixer at Black Finn

When: Sept. 4, 6-9 p.m.

Where: 65 W Kinzie St, Chicago, IL 60654

What: Meet other young professionals and help support LifeCrown Foundation, a grassroots organization whose mission is to provide free quality healthcare and educational support in Nigeria.

Crain’s Small Business Week – Speed Networking

What: Meet likeminded individuals in a fast-paced setting. Cost is $50 for non-members, $40 for members.

What: This year’s honoree is Frederick Waddell, CEO of the Northern Trust Company. Proceeds benefit the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
